Credit notes in SkySlope Books are available in the Sales (A/R) section.  Here you can add any credits you owe to contacts.  If there are recurring credits you give to any contacts, those can added as well.  


1. In the left menu, navigate to Sales. Then go to the Credit Notes section. This takes you to the Credit Notes page.


2. Click the Create button at the top right of your screen.


3. This takes you to the Create Credit Note page where you can enter the following:

  1. The Customer
  2. The Credit Note Number
  3. A Reference Number, if you are referencing another document, such as an overpaid invoice
  4. The Date
  5. "Auto-apply to future invoices based on Recurring Invoices" can be toggled on the credit should automatically be applied to future invoices.
  6. Add the Description, Quantity, and Rate of the Product you are creating a credit note for.


4. Click Create to finish creating the credit note.
